ST. LUCIE COUNTY — A 26-year-old man died, and six other people were injured in a single-vehicle crash this week in western St. Lucie County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol on Wednesday. The Monday crash, which was reported at 4:57 p.m., happened on Orange Avenue about 3 miles west of Sneed Road. A 34-year-old man drove a gray Honda sport utility vehicle east on Orange Avenue and lost control. A total of four men and three women were in the vehicle, according to the FHP. The driver overcorrected to the right and the vehicle began rotating clockwise, the FHP stated.
